“Beating the Odds” will offer patients  a survivorship follow-up program from the time of diagnosis until treatment has ended each patient will be recorded in database to help maintain proper follow up strategies based on treatment regiments.  Pediatric oncologists will do treatment for children and adults will be referred to a primary oncologist. It will include eye, lung, heart, endocrine, radiology, and neurology specialists. These types of tests are important because of the side effects that can happen after treatment. Hopefully these patients will be the one seen in the clinic from day one so we can use that data to create a program specific to that type of cancer to help give them a better quality of life.
